Counci hncmber introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-XX-XXX <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF RUM RIVER <br />ESTATES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, National Growth, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly <br />applied lbr preliminary plat approval of Rum River Estates Addition on the following described <br />property located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />Thc north 330.00 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 23, <br />Township 32, Range 25, together wit~! an easement for road purposes over the west <br />33.00 feet of that part of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 23 which lies north of <br />County State Aid Highway No. 5, according to the United States Government survey <br />thcreol', Anoka County, Minnesota. <br /> <br />(thc "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 13, 2004, the City of Ramsey received an application and <br />sketch plan from National Growth for a plat to be named Rum RiVer Estates; and <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WltEREAS, on January 6, 2005, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan; <br />WHEREAS, on January 25, 2005, the City Council reviewed the sketch plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 11, 2005, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat for Rum <br />River Estates to the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 7, 2005, the Planning Commigsion conducted a public hearing and <br />recommended the City Council deny the preliminary plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 14, 2005, the Park and Recreation Commission recommended <br />park dedication and trail fees be satisfied through a cash payment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the City Council tabled action on the request for <br />preliminary plat approval of Rum River Estates; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 14, 2005, the City Council directed City Staff to prepare findings <br />of fact to assist them in their decision regarding the request for preliminary plat approval of Rum <br />River F, statcs; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on June 28, 2005, the City Council ap~d.~'~ the request to rezone <br />thc Subject Property to Planned Unit Development to allow development of the property with <br />[ownhomcs. <br /> <br /> <br />
