The only .criteria <br />we do not meet for this permit is our parcel size: of 1.5 acres is under the' minimum 3 <br />acres as required by city code 9.11.04. <br /> <br />Business is generated for our Graphic Equipment and supplies company by our web site, <br />telemarketing and visiting our customers locations. If and when a customer comes to our <br />location it is by appointment only. Approximately 90% of our products are shipped <br />directly to our customers locations from our suppliers. The other 10% is shipped from our <br />location that consists of small packages that ground service (LIPS, SpeeDee) handles for <br />us. Our ground deliveries from UPS & Fedex average 2-3 times per week. OUr outgoing <br />shipments are picked up by Speedee on a daily basis and by UPS only if they are <br />delivering a package to us. We have (1) part time Non-Resident employee that works 4 <br />hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). The total vehicle trips per hour and per day as per <br />city code 9.11.04 Subd.4.e that is generated by our business is far less. than what is <br />allowed. The UPS/Fedex/SpeeDee delivery vehicles in a residential area are not required <br />to have the reverse "beeping" mechanism on their vehicles like the larger vehicles do (ie. <br />Garbage and Recycling). We do not .plan on generating more business nor needing more <br />employees that would increase any traffic to the area. <br /> <br />It is our intent is to be compliant with city codes and be courteous to our neighbors while <br />operating this business.
