Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-07-275 RESOI~UTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT REGARDING MAKING A DETERMINATION THAT AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (lEIS) IS NEEDEI) FOR THE PULTE DEVELOPMENT SOMMERSET STATION WHEREAS, Pulte Homes of Minnesota Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Developer", has properly applied for a sketch plan to develop 190 acres on the property located within the City of Ramsey as shown on Attachment A (the "Subject Property"); and WHEREAS, under 4410.4300(19)(c)of the State of Minnesota Rules, the subdivision proposed by the Developer is required to have an Environmental Assess~nent Worksheet (EAW) prepared. NOW TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating t'o the request are determined to be as follows: I. That on May 27, 2005, the City of Ramsey released the Draft EAW for Pulte's Sommerset Station development; and 2. That (m June 3, 2005, public notice on the availability of the Draft EAW appeared in the Anoka County Union. 3. That on June 6, 2005, public notice on the availability of.the Draft EAW appeared in the State of Minnesota Environmental Quality Board's publication the EQB Monitor. 4. That thc Draft EAW was sent to the following agencies for review and comment: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers U.S. Envirom-nental Protection Agency U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services Board of Water and Soil Resources Minnesota Department of Agriculture Minnesota Department of Health Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Minnesota Department of Transportation Minnesota Environmental Quality Board Minnesota Historical Society Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Metropolitan Council
