CASE # <br /> <br />AWARD BIDS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 04-27 <br />MPCA STORM SEWER REROUTING <br /> By: Steven J. Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Tho C. ity Council attthorized this project at the July 12, 2005 City Council meeting. This <br />project entails the relocation of a storm sewer owned by the Minnesota Pollution Control <br />Agency to service the groundwater reclamation system for the abandoned sanitary <br />landfill which runs diagonally over Lot 1 of Block 2 of the Sunfish Lake Business Park. <br />Thc purpose of this project is to create a marketable commercial lot. Funding for this <br />project will come from Tax Increment Financing (TIF). The cost of this project is <br />estimated to be less than $50,000 and therefore quotations may be accepted in lieu of <br />bids. Quotations were opened on Friday, July 22, 2005.
