CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENTERING INTO A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH <br />ANOKA COUNTY FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 02-716-07 <br /> By: Steven Jankowski, City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Attached to this case is a proposed joint powers agreement between the City and Anoka <br />County for hnprovement Project S.P. 02-716-07. This project consists of the <br />improvement of the segment ofCR 116 (Bunker Lake Boulevard) from TH 47 to <br />Dyspl-osium Street to a four lane divided roadway. The project includes the signalization <br />of thc Dysprosium/Thurston intersection with Bunker Lake Boulevard including <br />emergency vehicle preemption (EVP) devices. There will also be some modifications to <br />thc southernmost 150 feet of Dysprosium Street for turn lanes, and the addition of a <br />dedicated right turn lane for westbound CR 116 at TH 47. <br /> <br />Thc costs attributable to the City of Ramsey for this project are estimated to be $117,747 <br />as detailed on pages 4 and 5 of the draft agreement.
