ORDINANCE #05-XX <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 7 OF THE CITY CODE WHICH IS KNOWN AS <br />IACENSING AND PERMITS <br /> <br />AN ORI)INANCE AMENDING SECTION 7.03 OF CHAPTER 7 OF THE CITY CODE <br />ENTH'LED CONTRACTORS <br /> <br />ri'he City of Ramsey hereby ordains as follows: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of <br />Ramscy. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT <br /> <br />Section 7.03 "Contractors" shall be amended as follows: Bold type is the new language - <br />strik~:oughs-show the cun'ent language. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2 Contractor's Licensed. The permits which the building official~,,_.,~,~^~;-~ ,~,,~-cc'~ <br />is authorized to issue... <br /> <br /> Subd. 3. Requirements. Application for license shall be made to the building <br />official ~ and such license shall be granted upon proof of the applicant's <br />qualifications therefore, their willingness to comply with the provisions of the code, the filing of <br />certificates evidencing the holding of public liability insurance in the limits of $100,000.00 per <br />person and $300,000.00 per accident for bodily injury and as required by law. Fee. All contractors' licenses shall be obtained from the building <br />official. Applications for licenses shall be filed with the building official on the forms <br />furnished by the City. The fee for each license shall be as set by Council resolution and <br />shall not be refunded or prorated. The annual license fee and expiration date shall be as <br />provided in 701.10 of the Code, except that no license shall be required for: (the rest of this <br />stthdivi.vion remains as is in the current Code.) <br /> <br /> Subd. 5. Expiration. All licenses issued under the Code of the City shall <br />expire on December 3Pt following the date of issuance. If a license is granted hereunder <br />and is not renewed prior to expiration then all rights granted by such license shall cease <br /> <br /> <br />
