Enjoy Guns N' Roses greatest hits all in one of the best shows around. o Don't miss next week's concert as Rumble Seat performs a homage to John Mellencamp, playing his many hits through the years. • 2021 North Star Open and Voyageur Cup o Join the City of Ramsey and the Minnesota Archers Association for the 2021 North Star Open and Voyageur Cup, this Saturday August 7-8 at Elmcrest Park in Ramsey. o Don't miss out on the opportunity to see the premier outdoor target archery event in the upper Midwest. Featuring some of the best archers from youth to senior/masters showcase their skills. • Explore Archery Class o Take the opportunity to learn your first archery basics while nearby archers compete in Minnesota's State Outdoor event: The North Star Open. Participants will learn the same archery form that international athletes use and learn the rules for safety. o Join us this Saturday August 7th at either 10:00-11:00am or 2:00 — 3:00pm at Elmcrest Park. Classes are limited to the first 10 registrants/participants. Attached to the Weekly Update are The Draw Summer Concert Series Flyers and the Park and Recreation Event Flyers. Community Partners needed for Adopt -a -Flag Program. The City of Ramsey is gathering sponsorships as part of its Adopt -a -Flag program. The Adopt -a -Flag Program calls for community partners — both in the business and residential community — to sponsor a flag that will be affixed to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends -of -the -Flag Level Sponsorship is $50 and a Patriot Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a loved one.
