<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-226 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT <br />SUPERBOWL IN RAMSEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for a premise permit <br />for gambling at Superbowl 6720 Riverdale Drive NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Anoka Area Hockey Association has requested Council waive the <br />60-day notice provision; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br />application. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Anoka Area Hockey Association to operate lawful gambling at Superbowl 6720 <br />Riverdale Drive NW, Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heineman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Acting Mayor Riley <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
