<br /> <br />7550 Sunwood Drive NW Ramsey, MN 55303 <br />City Hall: 763.427.1410 Fax: 763.427.5543 <br />www.cityoframsey.com <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />PROJECT NO. 21-122: LENNAR FIRE STATION #1 <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that the City of Ramsey Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on <br />Thursday, August 26, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The purpose of the hearing is to consider a request for a Preliminary Plat and Zoning Amendment for <br />a residential development of 15 single-family homes and 129 detached townhomes on the property <br />generally located west of Armstrong Boulevard NW, north of Bunker Lake Boulevard NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />THE SE1/4 OF SE1/4 OF SEC 20 TWP 32 RGE 25, EX E 466 FT OF N 466 FT THEREOF, EX <br />RD, SUBJ TO EASE OF REC, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />The Zoning Amendment is to consider rezoning a portion of the property (generally the NW areas of the <br />site) from R-1 Residential (MUSA) with 80 foot wide lots to R-1 Residential (MUSA) with 65 foot wide <br />lots. The other aspect of the requested Zoning Amendment would be to rezone the remaining portion of <br />the property from R-3 Residential (High Density), which allows a density range of 8-15 units per acre, to <br />R-2 Residential (Medium Density), which allows a density range of 4-8 units per acre. The R-2 units are <br />proposed to be attached townhomes. <br /> <br />All interested persons are invited to attend and comment on the proposed requests. The City of Ramsey <br />complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and upon advance request, information will be provided <br />in an alternative form and interpreters will be available. Any person with such a request should contact <br />Brian McCann at 763-433-9860 by noon on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. <br /> <br />Those that are able to attend meetings remotely should do so to maintain appropriate social distancing <br />standards. All interested persons are invited to join remotely from a PC, Mac, Linus, IOS, or Android at <br />www.cityoframsey.com/meetings. Remote attendees desiring to speak to the Planning Commission are <br />asked to use their webcam. <br />Written comments are welcome and shall be addressed to the Ramsey Planning Commission, 7550 <br />Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, MN 55303.
