To whom it may concern:
I am requesting a permit so I can run my lawn and landscape business from my home. The business was
started by my father in Blaine in 1998. 1 took over in 2015 when he was diagnosed with cancer. I started
growing the business and quickly outgrew our home in Coon Rapids and was renting 2 different storage
locations. Running back and forth between the house in Coon Rapids, Andover and Isle quickly became a
burden, not to mention a waste of money and fuel. We had our first daughter in October of 2016 and
our son in march of 2018. The amount of time I was spending away from home was taking its toll on my
family. My wife and I decided it was time to look for home with enough space to park and store the
trucks, trailer and other equipment. We found this home late in 2018 and closed on it in February of
2019 and it has been a blessing. In October of 2019 we had our 2nd daughter and we love it here in
Ramsey. I know now that I have been running the business here un permitted, I would like to thank Bria
Raines for all of the help through this process and hope I will be able to operate the business from my
home
Sincerely,
Jacob Johnson
