City Staff was following up on a past code enforcement violation from 2019 at the <br />above premises. A recent inspection of the premises revealed the following repeat violations of the <br />Ramsey City Code as listed below: <br />City Code Chapter 30-3. Property conditions constituting a public nuisance. <br />o (6) The storage or accumulation of waste, refuse, or garbage that is not contained <br />in a closed container designed or reasonably adapted for such purpose, except for <br />30 days preceding pick-up by a hauler. <br />City Code Section 117-355 — Residential development off-street parking sections <br />o (b) (1 through 6) Number of items, locations, and surfacing. <br />City Code Chapter 117-351 —Home Occupation <br />o Home occupations require a permit, administrative or from City Council, for work <br />exceeding the parameters set by Section 117-351. Please reach out to us to let us <br />know why there is construction or work activity on the West side of the property <br />and the commercial (Shamrock) trailer. <br />An administrative citation for $75 has been included in this letter. You have 14 days from <br />the date of this letter to address the following (or you will receive an additional notice of <br />violation and administrative citation of $250): <br />• Chapter 30-3. — Property conditions constituting a public nuisance. <br />o Properly store all public nuisance items (brush and wood remnants), or <br />remove them from the property. <br />• Chapter 117-355 —Residential development off-street parking <br />o No vehicle may be parked on the grass. Must be parked on paved surface or gravel. <br />o Each property is allowed one inoperable or unlicensed vehicle, but it must be stored <br />on proper surfacing (e.g. driveway) <br />o Please apply for a driveway permit for the second driveway (gravel) <br />o You are allowed up to 6 total items stored outside, including trucks, trailers, etc. <br />It is our mission to work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government <br />services. <br />
