Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-05-126 <br /> <br />RI,;SOI.UTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF <br />SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-07 (OVERLAY SECTION 21 UNPLATTED) <br /> <br />PLANS AND <br />BIDS FOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-02-043 on February 08, 2005, <br />fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement to overlay Section 21 <br />Unplatted, (hnprovement Project #05-07) and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />givcn, and the hearing was held on March 8, 2005, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public hearing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1 ) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on February 08, 2005. <br /> <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. He <br />shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. <br /> <br />3) The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br /> advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such plans and <br /> specifications. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Strommen, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br /> <br />llonc <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-05-126 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
