Counci lmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-05-147 RESOi~UTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-23 (EBONY STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS BETWEEN 137TM AVENUE AND RIVERDALE DRIVE) AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND S P EC ! Fl CATIONS WIIEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted October 12, 2004, a fcasibility study for the 2005 Street Maintenance Program has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, with reference to Improvement Project #05-23; and WII[EREAS, a resolution of City Council adopted on February 8, 2005 fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Ebony Street from 137th Avenue to Riverdale Drive; and WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, and thc public hearing was held thereon on the 22nd day of March, 2005, at which all persons desiring to bc heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the fcasibility study report. 2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this Council resolution. 3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. 4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
