Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-097 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING GRADING AGREEMENT FOR NORTHFORK MEADOWS <br />WHEREAS, US Home Corporation dba Lennar, hereafter referred to as "Developer," has <br />requested approval from the City to grade the property for Northfork Meadows (the "Project") <br />subdivision prior to fmal plat approval, on the land legally described as Outlot A, Alpha Development, <br />and Outlot B, Alpha Development 2nd Addition, Anoka County, Minnesota (the `Subject Property'); <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved the Preliminary Plat on February 9, 2021 and removed <br />all contingencies on March 9, 2021; and <br />WHERAS, the Developer has not applied for Final Plat approval but requested approval to <br />clear and grade the site to keep the Project on track; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has drafted their standard grading agreement which includes a financial <br />surety to ensure the work is completed to City standards; and <br />WHERAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the requested on April 13, 2021. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby grants approval for the preliminary Grading Agreement <br />with the following conditions <br />a. Conformance with Staff Review and approval of plans by the City Engineer. <br />b. Execution of Grading Agreement with approved financial surety by City's Finance <br />Director and approval of legal form by City Attorney. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Howell, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Kuzma <br />Councilmember Woestehoff <br />Councilmember Howell <br />Councilmember Heineman <br />Councilmember Musgrove <br />Councilmember Riley <br />Councilmember Spect <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />None <br />
