Happy Days weekend will kick off Friday, September 10, with a Movie in the Park at Elmcrest Park. We’ll be showing Dreamwork’s How to Train Your Dragon (PG) when the sun sets at 8:15 pm. On Saturday, September 11, start the day with a 5K or bike tour. We will be having a Moment of Silence at 8:58 am before the annual 5K race to remember those who lost their lives in the September 11 terrorist attacks. After the 5K, don’t miss out on a pancake breakfast, car show, food, beer, talent show, parade, BINGO and a fireworks show. Check out magician Jerry Frasier and catch GB Leighton (cover rock and pop band) performance on the Main Stage. And the fun doesn’t stop there! On Sunday, the Ramsey Fire Relief Association is hosting a 9/11 Memorial Golf Tournament. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Firefighters for Healing. Recreation Updates:  Starwatch Party 2021 o Wednesday night we hosted our annual Starwatch Party at Elmcrest Park, a good time was had by all. o Participants learned about stars, planets, galaxies, and constellations from retired WCCO Meteorologist Mike Lynch. Thanks to all who participated!  Movie in the Park o Join us for a movie in the park Friday September 10, from 8:15-10:10pm at Elmcrest Park in Ramsey. o Enjoy How to Train Your Dragon on the big screen while spending time outdoors with family and friends. Free popcorn will be served by the Ramsey Lions.  Fall Yoga o Yoga is back in Ramsey Tuesday evenings September 14 – November 9 at Ramsey’s Central Park Building. o The City of Ramsey is excited to have Mary Troullier, RYT teach two Yoga classes. Candlelight Vinyasa style yoga class and an hour long gentle movement style yoga class where you will connect to your breath through mindful movement.
