HOFF BARRY RATE PROPOSAL <br />Option 1 - Hourly rate: <br />The fees for general legal services that are paid from the City's general fund are as follows: <br />1. Partners/Of Counsel $165.00 per hour <br />2. Associate Attorneys $155.00 per hour <br />3. Paralegals $100.00 per hour <br />4. Legal Assistants/Law Clerks $ 90.00 per hour <br />The fees for litigation related matters that are paid from the City's general fund are as follows: <br />1. Partners/Of Counsel $185.00 per hour <br />2. Associate Attorneys $155.00 per hour <br />3. Paralegals $100.00 per hour <br />4. Legal Assistants/Law Clerks $ 90.00 per hour <br />Legal matters that are reimbursed by a developer, other third -party or non -general fund are as follows: <br />1. Partners/Of Counsel <br />2. Associate Attorneys <br />3. Paralegals <br />4. Legal Assistants/Law Clerks <br />Option 2 - Retainer plus hourly rate: <br />$240.00 per hour <br />$225.00 per hour <br />$120.00 per hour <br />$100.00 per hour <br />The fees for general legal services that are paid from the City's general fund are covered by a $7,000 <br />per month retainer. The retainer includes all general municipal legal matters including: 2 Council <br />meetings per month with travel; drafting/reviewing ordinances and resolutions; review of Council <br />agenda items and minutes; bidding and contracts; phone conferences and emails with staff; real estate; <br />City improvement projects including 429 process; labor and personnel matters; data practices and <br />open meeting; and annexation. <br />The retainer excludes the following: <br />Litigation - representation of the City related to litigation, hearings, grievances, appeals, mediation, <br />and arbitration, which will be billed at the following rates: <br />1. Partners/Of Counsel <br />2. Associate Attorneys <br />3. Paralegals <br />4. Legal Assistants/Law Clerks <br />$185.00 per hour <br />$155.00 per hour <br />$100.00 per hour <br />$ 90.00 per hour <br />
