Councilmelnber Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06-175 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #05-27 (WELCOMES ROAD <br />STREET GRADING AND PAVING) AND CALLING FOR THE PREPARATION OF <br />PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a motion of the Ramsey City Council, adopted March 8, 2005, a <br />feasibility study has been prepared by Steve Jankowski, City Engineer, for Improvement Project <br />#05-27, Welcome's Road Grading and Paving Improvements; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of City Council adopted on March 8, 2005 fixed a date for a Council <br />hearing on the proposed improvement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was given, <br />and the public hearing was held thereon on the 12th day of April, 2005, at which all persons <br />desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br /> feasibility study report. <br /> <br />2) That such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in this council resolution. <br /> <br />3) That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. <br /> <br />4) That the engineer shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br /> improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Olson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councihnember Olson <br />Co uncilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councihnember Pearson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />llone <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-06-175 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
