Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-214 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CINEMA FACILITY CONSULTING SERVICES <br />CONTRACT WITH PAUL SILK IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 WITH A TRANSFER OF <br />FUNDS FROM THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE BUDGET OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the Ramsey Town Center Core area development, a Cinema <br />facility is to be constructed: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paul Silk, who has thirty years of cinema experience, has approached the <br />City regarding offering his expertise in the negotiations of the cinema project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Silk's contract would be for a two-year period with a total fee of <br />$5,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funding for the Cinema contract would be obtained with a transfer from the <br />Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community Development in the amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Cinema Facility Consulting Services <br />Contract with Mr. Paul Silk in the amount of $5,000 with funding from the Council <br />Contingency Fund to the budget of Community Development in the amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffi'ey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the tbllowing voted against: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
