COMMISSION/STAFF INPUT <br /> Senior Planner McGuire Brigl advised of the City's Happy Days Festival which will take place on <br /> September 111h. She provided a brief update on construction activity within The COR area along <br /> with other residential development in Ramsey. <br /> Chairperson Bauer stated that at the last meeting he was appointed to represent the Planning <br /> Commission on the interview screening panel for the new Assistant City <br /> Administrator/Community Development Director. He provided a brief update on that process, <br /> noting that seven candidates were recommended to continue in the process. He stated that one <br /> candidate withdrew, which leaves six candidates moving forward. He stated that there were two <br /> additional interview panels between the City Council and City staff department heads. <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff stated that yesterday and today they held the second round of <br /> interviews which included five candidates. He noted that all were extremely qualified and noted <br /> that the Council hopes to have a decision to bring a candidate onboard by mid-October. <br /> Commissioner Walker read into the record the written letter he brought from a resident on Variolite <br /> related to the request from the Hunt property. <br /> Chairperson Bauer asked if staff could research when the Hunt property was rezoned and the <br /> notifications that would have been provided at that time. <br /> 9.
