Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-226 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANOKA AREA HOCKEY ASSOCIATION <br />APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING AT <br />SUPERBOWL IN RAMSEY <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Area Hockey Association has applied for a premise permit <br />for gambling at Superbowl 6720 Riverdale Drive NW, Ramsey. <br />WHEREAS, The Anoka Area Hockey Association has requested Council waive the <br />60-day notice provision; and <br />WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming <br />requires the City of Ramsey adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the <br />application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for the <br />Anoka Area Hockey Association to operate lawful gambling at Superbowl 6720 <br />Riverdale Drive NW, Ramsey. <br />2 <br />) <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator or Finance <br />Director to sign the application and any other documents required by the Minnesota <br />Gambling Board. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />10 th day of August, 2021 <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
