Bee hives may be maintained on a parcel with the issuance of a beekeeping license <br />zoning permit. <br />(10) Beekeeping license zoning permit process. <br />a. Application. The application for a license zoning permit shall contain the <br />following information; name, address, and telephone number of applicant; the <br />address of the location, and a sketch plan of the premises where the bee hives will <br />be maintained include how the owner will demonstrate compliance with the <br />standards of this section. <br />b. Processing application. The application must be filed with the zoning <br />administrator together with the permit fee_ 30 days prior to a city council meeting. <br />Following an inspection of the premises proposed to be licensed, the zoning <br />administrator shall make a recommendation to the city council to approve or deny <br />the application. The city council shall hold a public hearing and make the final <br />decision on the application. <br />3 <br />
