Counci hnember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-06-186 RESOI,UTION APPROVING 2~) AND FINAL PAYMENT TO DAVE PERKINS CONTRACTING INC. #04-35 ARMSTRONG BOULEVARD WATERMAIN EXTENSION WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized the construction of Sunwood Drive N W and t~,binestone Street NW Utility and Street Improvements; and WItEREAS, on October 12, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04-10- 314 awarding thc contract for IP #04-35 to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $38,592.00; and WHEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected thc completed work and recommends 1st and final payment to Dave Perkins Contracting hie. ill tim amount of $36,205.21. WlIEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 2nd and final payment to Dave Perkins Contracting Inc. in the amount of $3,615.54. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That thc City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to Dave Perkins Contracting, Inc. for hnprovement Project #04-35 in the amount'of$3,615.54. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That thc total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of June 28, 2005. 4) That thc City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
