<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-279 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2021, PAYABLE 2022 TAX LEVY AND <br />SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2021, payable 2022, be levied upon the <br />taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the <br />following purposes: <br /> <br />GENERAL LEVY <br /> <br /> Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations <br /> Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 2,036,213 <br /> Collected as Pavement Management Levy 1,673,227 <br /> Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 75,360 <br /> Collected as Property Tax General Levy 9,676,377 <br /> <br /> $13,461,177 <br />DEBT SERVICE LEVY <br /> <br /> CIP Bond – Municipal Center 796,698 <br /> CIP Bond – Fire Station #2 280,153 <br /> 2013 Equipment Certificates 77,910 <br /> 2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 117,293 <br /> 2014 Equipment Certificates 101,173 <br /> 2016 GO Road Improvement Bonds 153,477 <br /> 2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 95,781 <br /> 2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 110,340 <br /> 2020 CIP Bond – Public Works Campus 127,276 <br /> <br /> 1,860,101 <br /> <br /> <br />TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES <br /> $ 15,321,278 <br /> <br /> <br />1)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $334,139 related to the $3,090,000 GO <br />Refunding Bond, Series 2011B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. <br />Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. <br /> <br /> <br />2)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $1,259,173 (105% of debt service) related <br />to the 2012 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. The <br />City will levy at $796,698 for the new 2021 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding <br />Bonds for the Municipal Center (refunding the 2012 GO CIP Issue) that will be sold on <br />September 28, 2021. <br /> <br />
