Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #21-279 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2021, PAYABLE 2022 TAX LEVY AND SCHEDULE BUDGET PUBLIC MEETING DATE NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, COUNTY OF ANOKA, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the following proposed levies for certified 2021, payable 2022, be levied upon the taxable property in said City of Ramsey, Anoka County, State of Minnesota for the following purposes: GENERAL LEVY Fund 101: General Fund - General Operations Fiscal Disparity Transfer - as estimated $ 2,036,213 Collected as Pavement Management Levy 1,673,227 Collected as Property Tax EDA Levy 75,360 Collected as Property Tax General Levy 9,676,377 $13,461,177 DEBT SERVICE LEVY CIP Bond – Municipal Center 796,698 CIP Bond – Fire Station #2 280,153 2013 Equipment Certificates 77,910 2015 GO Road Improvement Bonds 117,293 2014 Equipment Certificates 101,173 2016 GO Road Improvement Bonds 153,477 2017 GO Road Improvement Bonds 95,781 2018 GO Road Improvement Bonds 110,340 2020 CIP Bond – Public Works Campus 127,276 1,860,101 TOTAL PROPOSED LEVIES $ 15,321,278 1)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $334,139 related to the $3,090,000 GO Refunding Bond, Series 2011B, as per Joint Powers Agreement with Anoka County. Anoka County is required to pay directly to the City, this debt service amount. 2)That the City of Ramsey will not be levying the $1,259,173 (105% of debt service) related to the 2012 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center. The City will levy at $796,698 for the new 2021 GO Capital Improvement Plan Refunding Bonds for the Municipal Center (refunding the 2012 GO CIP Issue) that will be sold on September 28, 2021.
