Councihnembcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-218 <br /> <br />RESOI,UTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE UTILITIES <br />LEAl) PERSON <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, John Nelson began working as the City's Utilities Lead Person on January <br />12, 2005 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, Mr. Nelson has successfully completed the required six-month <br />probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreed with staff's <br />mcolnnlcndation to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW, TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />Thc City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Colninittee to end the probationary period for John Nelson, effective July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />Thc nlotion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffrey, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc <br />Councilmcmber Cook <br />Councilmcmber Jeffrey <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councihncmber Pearson <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and thc following abstained: <br /> <br />Nolle <br /> <br />and thc l"ollowing were absent: <br /> <br />Councihnember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
