(iouncJhncmber Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #05-07-219 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR A UTILITIES <br />MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, Jerry Dube began working for the City as a Utilities Maintenance Worker <br />on January 12, 2005 and was subject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WI ! EREAS, Mr. Dube has successfully completed the required six-month probationary <br />period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreed with staff's <br />recommendation to end the probationary period for Jerry Dube, effective July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />I) 'i'hc City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br /> Committee to end the probationary period for Jerry Dube, effective July 12, 2005. <br /> <br />~l'he motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jeffl'cy, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councihnember Cook <br /> Councilmember Jeffrey <br /> Councihnember Elvig <br /> (;ouncihnember Pearson <br /> <br />and the fbllowing voted against the same: <br /> <br /> 'None <br /> <br />and thc Following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the fi)llowJng were absent: <br /> <br /> Councihnember Olson <br /> Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
