Councihnembcr Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-220 <br /> <br />RES()LUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS <br />MECIIANIC <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, Nick Maras began working for the City on December 29, 2005 and was <br />.~ubject to a six-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Maras has successfully completed the required six-month probationary <br />period; atari <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 12, 2005 meeting agreedwith staff's <br />rccommcndation to end the probationary period for Nick Maras effective June 29, 2005. <br /> <br />NOW, TItIMEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br />Committce to end the probationary period for Nick Maras effective June 29, 2005. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Jcfl'rcy, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councihnember Elvig <br />Councihnember Pearson <br /> <br />and tile Following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and tile l'ollowing abstained: <br /> <br />~JOllC <br /> <br />and thc Ibllowing were absent: <br /> <br />Council member Olson <br />Councihnember Strommen <br /> <br /> <br />
