CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramscy City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 28, 2005, at <br />the Ramscy Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Armstrong Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen (arrived at 6:51 p.m.) <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Thomas Gamec <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />HRA Executive Director Sylvia Frolik <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Associate Planner Amy Geisler <br />Management Intern Jason Schmidt <br /> <br />(;ALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:07 p.m. <br /> <br />APl'ROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman indicated Case No. 5 will be moved up in the agenda to precede <br />(iasc No. 1. <br /> <br />The agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />5) Future Redevelopment Projects <br /> <br />Thc Council discussed various redevelopment opportunities in several neighborhoods of the <br />City. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman explained houses have been pulled out of the City with past <br />redevelopment projects. The City is beginning to lose a wonderful housing stock in the <br />community, and there needs to be a landing spot for houses that will be moved in the future. <br /> <br />City Council Work Session / July 28, 2005 <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
