Councihnember XXX introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION # 05-08- XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT ANOKA COUNTY PERFORM A <br />MARKET ANALYSIS FOR AFFORDABLE WORKFORCE AND SENIOR <br />HOUSING <br /> <br /> WIIEREAS, the City of Ramsey has been considering a potential need for <br />worl<forcc and senior housing and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan specifically states a policy of working with <br />local and regional housing agencies to identify low and moderate income housing needs, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey Town Center Master Plan indicates the desire to include <br />a wide range of income levels and unit sizes within the Ramsey Town Center and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Anoka County HRA has indicated the desire to explore the <br />potential for redevelopment of the land around the sanitary landfill owned by the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council requests that Anoka County perform a Market <br />Analysis for affordable workforce and senior housing in the Ramsey Town <br />Center and, <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council requests that Anoka County perform a Market <br />Analysis for redevelopment potential of the area surrounding the sanitary <br />landfill currently owned by the IVlPCA. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the <br />Council member <br />lhvor thcrcofi <br /> <br />adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br /> <br />and thc following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and lhe lbllowing abstained: <br /> <br />and thc following were absent: <br /> <br /> <br />
