CASE <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> REQUEST FOR VACATION OF EASEMENTS IN <br />RAMSEY TOWN CENTER 8xn, 9xn, AND 10TM ADDITIONS; <br />CASE OF RAMSE¥ TOWN CENTER, LLC <br /> By: Amy Geisler, AICP, Associate Planner <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City Council approved the final plats of Ramsey Town Center 8th, 9th, and l0th Additions on <br />July 26, 2005. These plats are a re-plat of portions of the 1 st Addition of Ramsey Town Center, <br />which included the standard drainage and utility easements. These easements must now be <br />vacated to allow for the recording of Ramsey Town Center 8th, 9th, and l0th Additions, which <br />includc new drait~age and utility easements. <br /> <br />Thc following items are enclosed for your information: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Exhibit of underlying easements to be vacated <br />Proposed ordinance <br /> <br />Notification: <br /> <br />accordance with State Statute, City Staff attempted to notify property owners within 350 feet <br />thc subject property of the public hearing to vacate easements. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />It takcs a public hearing and Council ordinance to eliminate some of the underlying drainage and <br />uti lity easements that exist as part of the original Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff recommends introduction of the enclosed ordinance to vacate existing easements. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce Ordinance #05- <br />Ramsey Town Center Addition. <br /> <br />__ to' vacate certain drainage and utility easements in <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />CC: 08/09/05 <br /> <br /> <br />
