<br />Nine dogs were impounded in June. All nine were released to their owners.

<br />Training
<br />
<br />Officers attended approximately 64 hours of driving school in June.
<br />
<br />Safety Camp
<br />
<br />Despite the 90+ degree heat, the fourth annual two-day Kid's Safety Camp was a
<br />huge success for 144 local third and fourth graders, our largest camp yet!
<br />
<br />Our goal is to provide a Iow-cost camp to area youth where they can learn how to
<br />prevent unintentional injury situations in their every day lives, while having a great
<br />time. This years safety topics included animal safety (MN Zoomobile), bike safety,
<br />team building (Air National Guard), boat/PFD safety (Anoka County Sheriff's Office
<br />Water Patrol), water safety (Anoka Aquatics), electrical safety (Mad Science), poison
<br />prevention (MN Poison Control), basic first aid (Medics Training), and brain injury
<br />prevention (Mercy & Unity Hospital).
<br />
