Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor (Jamec called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:58 p.m. <br /> <br />APl'ROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Pro Tem Elvig indicated Case No. 3 will be moved up to precede Case No. 1. <br /> <br />rlhc agenda was approved as amended. <br /> <br />COUNCIL TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br /> <br />3) East/West Corridor Alignment <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman reviewed that the 2005-2009 Capital Improvement Program includes <br />a proposed project #04-STR-020 with the project name of 167th Avenue Extension. This project <br />would bc the new 167th Avenue corridor created between Nowthen Boulevard and Armstrong <br />Boulevard. The alignment for the corridor extension was discussed through the last <br />Comprehensive Planning process. During the transportation discussions of the Comprehensive <br />Planning process, the City Council changed the alignment and selected a more northerly route <br />atter considering three separate alternatives.
