<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: Mayor Mark Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Ryan Heineman <br />Councilmember Chelsee Howell <br />Councilmember Debra Musgrove <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Dan Specht <br />Councilmember Matt Woestehoff <br /> <br />Members Absent: None. <br /> <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurtis Ulrich <br /> Public Works Superintendent Grant Riemer <br />Senior Planner Chloe McGuire Brigl <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Communications and Events Coordinator Megan Thorstad <br />Zoning Code Enforcement Officer Bria Raines (attended remotely) <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Kuzma called the regular meeting of the Ramsey City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., <br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Kuzma. <br />2. PRESENTATION <br />2.01: Presentation Highlighting the 2021 Happy Days Festival <br /> <br />Communications and Events Coordinator Megan Thorstad gave a presentation on the upcoming <br />rd <br />23 Annual City of Ramsey Happy Days Festival, to be held September 10-12, 2021. She stated <br />the schedule of events includes a Movie in the Park at Elmcrest Park on Friday, September 10, <br />2021, at 8:15 p.m. She added a variety of events are planned for Saturday, September 11, 2021, <br />including a 5k and youth fun run; pancake breakfast at the Kitchen Table; family bike tour; car <br />show; Lions Beer Tent; food vendors; and many activities for the kids. She noted the bean bag <br />tournament, chili cook-off and community talent show will be held again this year, and the dog <br />show is returning for its second year. She noted the chili cook-off is sponsored by Youth First <br />Community of Promise. <br /> <br />City Council / August 24, 2021 <br />Page 2 of 14 <br /> <br />
