Deputy City <br />Administrator / <br />Community <br />Development <br />Director <br />Bargaining Unit: None <br />CITY F RAMSEY <br />SE <br />Established Date: Jun 7, 2021 <br />Revision Date: Jun 7, 2021 <br />Class Code: <br />11018 <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$106,613.00- $133,266.00 Annually <br />PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br />The Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director is responsible for the <br />planning and implementation of assistance programs for development and redevelopment of <br />residential, commercial and industrial land that help shape a vibrant, sustainable community. <br />In addition, the Deputy City AdministratorCommunity Development Director works to provide <br />cross functional administrative project leadership, capital development project administratin, <br />and management analysis for the organization. This position description is not a complete <br />description of the role of the Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director. <br />The full 2021 salary range for this position is: <br />Step 1 - $106, 13 -- Step 2 - $111,944 -- Step 3 - $117, 74 -- Step 4 - $1 2,6 5 -- Step 6 - <br />$127,935 — Step 6 - $133,266 <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Land Use Planning, Public Administration, Business <br />Administration, or a closely related field and at least one of the following: <br />• more than five years' professional experience in leading/managing development and <br />marketing initiatives within a community; <br />• more than five years' experience related to Community Development, Planning/Zoning <br />or Economic Development; <br />• more than five years' experience in municipal planning and development <br />Desired i ualifi a i n <br />
