The proposed development would include the <br />construction of housing on 270 lots with associated roads and drives, ponds, and a dedicated pork arr. Nienow <br />Cultural Consultants LLC (NCC) was contracted to complete the Phase 1 Archaeological Survey for this project. <br />NC:C completed the fieldwork on lune 14, 15, ;mil 16, 1021. Fieldwork consisted of surface survey of all agricultural <br />areas on seven- meter interval.. VisibiIit across the project area ninged between 70 and Surface survey <br />resulted in the identification 4 si‘ surface find spots (labeled FS1 through. P56 oil Map 2.. Fivc Of the six artifacts <br />were tertiary quart 1.1 one quartz shatter. Th.e locations of the find spots divide them into three <br />archaeological sites: FS2 (single lind spot —quartz sh.attcrt:. F56 (single fine spot — quartz tertiary flaked and FS1, 3, <br />4, and 5 (titbit sciitter— cithirtz te 1 ry flakes).
