Join the City of Ramsey for its first ever Holiday Lights Contest! Registration now open through Friday, December 3. A map with all participating addresses will be available on the City's website for residents to take a self -guided tour. Judging will take place the week of December 13 -17. The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: • Rink Attendants — Temporary 10-week positions starting December 17, 2021. Rate of pay is $10.33 per hour. Maintain the warming houses during the skating season through responsible, safety -minded work. Must be 16 years old by December 9, 2021. These positions are open until 11:59 pin on Tuesday. November 9, 2021. • Snow Plow Drivers — Temporary positions. Rate of pay is $13.00 per hour. Assist the Public Works Department with cul-de-sac routes using one of the City's 1-ton pick-up trucks on an as -needed basis through the winter months. These positions are open until filled, so if interested please apply immediately. • Paid On -call Firefighters — Recruiting for both Fire Station #1 (Armstrong Boulevard) and #2 (Alpine Drive). Respond to a variety of emergency and non -emergency events under the general supervision of an officer. Rate of pay is $12.88 per hour. Recreation Updates: • Gentle Movement Yoga. Tuesday, November 2, 6:00 — 7:00 pm, at the Park Center Building. Gentle Movement Yoga is an hour-long yoga class where we will connect to our breath through mindful movement. All levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. • Candlelight Vinyasa Yoga. Tuesday, November 2, 7:15 — 8:15 pm, at the Park Center Building. Candlelight Vinyasa Yoga is an hour-long yoga class where we will connect to our breath through mindful movement. All levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. • Line Dancing. Wednesday, November 3, 6:30 — 8:00 pm, at the Park Center Building. Learn popular patterns of steps to a variety of music. This class is suitable for all ages and levels. No partner required. Prepare for class - Bring a water bottle - Wear an outfit that is comfortable to dance in. Registration is requested but not required. This class is free to attend. Limited to first 30 people.
