Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-319 <br />RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COMPLETION OF AN ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC <br />STUDY FOR TROTT BROOK CROSSING <br />WHEREAS, the Trott Brook Crossing subdivision is comprised of 270 lots on 200 acre <br />and the development will have significant traffic impacts to the surrounding area; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council is entrusted to protect the health, safety, and general <br />welfare of all its residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has reviewed the traffic studies for the Trott Brook <br />Crossing development and has identified areas of concern that have not yet been satisfactorily <br />addressed; and <br />WHEREAS, an additional traffic study would provide the Ramsey City Council with the <br />information necessary to verify previous traffic study results, and to ensure that all public safety traffic <br />issues are properly addressed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the requested on April 13, 2021. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Ramsey City Administrator to <br />commission a Traffic Study for the Trott Brook Crossing Development. <br />2) That the study shall not exceed $15,000 in cost, with funds hereby allocated from the <br />City Public Improvement Revolving (PIR) Fund. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />9th day of November, 2021. <br />
