Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21- <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES <br />IN PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS AND EASEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey desires to ensure that all public utilities installed <br />within public right-of-ways and easements are able to be adequately maintained in perpetuity <br />using City -owned equipment and vehicles. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) The City shall be responsible for maintaining utility mains and trunk lines under streets. <br />2) The City shall not accept any designs that do not meet minimum City design standards. <br />3) The City shall not accept any designs that are not able to be maintained by City -owned <br />equipment or vehicles. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the day of , 2021. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />City Clerk <br />
