(Example: two snowmobiles and an empty trailer on the ground are three items; <br />two snowmobiles on a trailer are one item). <br />e. Items that will count towards the number restriction include, but are not limited <br />to, the following examples: motor vehicles, recreational vehicles, campers, boats, <br />canoes, snowmobiles, jet-skis, all terrain vehicles, go-carts, motocross bikes, <br />motorcycles, fish houses, and other recreational equipment and self-propelled <br />vehicles. <br />f. Exceptions: Items that will not count towards the number restriction include those <br />items typically seen as accessory to a residential use. Examples would be <br />lawnmowers, garden tractors and attachments, bicycles, wheelbarrows, play <br />structures, stepladders, and other items used for routine home and lawn <br />maintenance. <br />g. Increase in the number of items will be allowed through an administrative zoning <br />permit at the discretion of the zoning administrator if the applicant can <br />demonstrate a higher number of drivers, topographical issues on the lot or other <br />practical difficulties. <br />h. Adjacent parcels under single ownership shall be treated as one property to <br />determine the number of allowed outdoor storage items based on the total size of <br />the property. <br />SECTION 3. SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #20-15 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />Ordinance #20-15 amends Sections 117-111, 117-349, and 117-355 to create additional <br />requirements for parking pads, driveways, and number of outdoor storage items in the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 4.EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter <br />Section 5.04. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota the _______day of______, 2021. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />
