Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-325 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING MUNICIPAL STATE AID SYSTEM DESIGNATIONS <br />AND COLLECTOR ROAD SYSTEM <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which provides of a <br />system of arterial and collector thoroughfares; and <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid System <br />(MSAS) under chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction and maintenance <br />of such an arterial and collector system; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best inters of the City of Ramsey to modify the designated MSAS <br />to conform to its changing transportation needs; and <br />WHEREAS, a City Council resolution followed by an order from the Commissioner of <br />Transporation is required when revising a nonexistent segment alignment onto an existing <br />roadway. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the following described MSAS segments be revoked from the system: <br />• Part of MSAS l 0l : Uranimite Street— from Bunker Lake Blvd to l 49tt' Avenue <br />(0.26 non -existing miles) <br />• Part of MSAS 104: Sunwood Drive/ 146h Ave — from Puma Street to <br />Armstrong Blvd (0.68 non -existing and 0.13 improved for a total of 0.81miles) <br />• Part of MSAS 109: Puma Street (non -existing)/ 142'd Avenue — from Bunker <br />Lake Blvd to Armstrong Blvd (1.34 non -existing and 0.18 improved for a total <br />of 1.52 miles) <br />• Part of MSAS 109: Traprock Street — from Riverdale Drive to TH 10 (0.07 <br />non -existing miles) <br />• Part of MSAS 116 Armstrong Blvd— from Riverdale Drive to TH 10 (0.02 non- <br />existing and 0.06 improved for a total of 0.08 miles) <br />2. That the following described MSAS segments be added to the system: <br />
