Come Work With Us! The City of Ramsey is hiring for the following positions: • Rink Attendants — Temporary 10-week positions starting Friday, December 17, 2021. Rate of pay is $10.33 per hour. Maintain the warming houses during the skating season through responsible, safety -minded work. Must be 16 years old by December 16, 2021. These positions are open until filled, so if interested please apply immediately. • Snow Plow Drivers — Temporary positions. Rate of pay is $13.00 per hour. Assist the Public Works Department with cul-de-sac routes using one of the City's 1-ton pick-up trucks on an as -needed basis through the winter months. These positions are open until filled, so if interested please apply immediately. • Paid On -Call Firefighters — Recruiting for both Fire Station # 1 (Armstrong Boulevard) and #2 (Alpine Drive). Respond to a variety of emergency and non -emergency events under the general supervision of an officer. Rate of pay is $12.88 per hour. These positions are open until early December 2021, so if interested please apply immediately. • Streets Maintenance Worker — This is a full-time position that will provide general maintenance of public streets, right-of-way, storm sewer systems, parking lots and any other related municipal facilities or equipment; as well as snow plowing of public streets, trails and walks. Must possess a Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with both air brake and tanker endorsements. Rate of pay is $23.68/hour and has paid leave benefits (sick, vacation and holidays). Meet at Elmcrest Park, 16303 Quicksilver Street NW, and enjoy a complimentary coffee while meeting our Police Officers. • Holiday Lights Contest. The City of Ramsey is hosting its first ever Holiday Lights Contest. Registration is now open and closes Friday, December 3. A map with all participating addresses will be available on the City's website (after registration closes) for residents to take a self -guided tour. Judging will take place the week of December 13 -17. Prizes available for winners. Residential, commercial and industrial properties are welcome to participate.
