Councilmember Specht introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-314 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRIVATE KENNEL LICENSE ON A RESIDENTIAL <br />PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 6620 153rd COURT NW. <br />WHEREAS, Roger Vargas, hereinafter referred to as the "Licensee", has properly applied <br />to the City of Ramsey (the "City") for a Private Kennel License (the "License") on the property <br />generally known as 6620 153rd Court NW and legally described as follows: <br />Lot 11 Block 1 Alpine Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />("Subject Property") <br />WHEREAS, the Licensee has applied for a Private Kennel License to maintain <br />five (5) dogs on the Subject Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the application for a Private Kennel License is to keep and <br />maintain all five (5) dogs currently residing on the Subject Property; and <br />WHEREAS, the request appears to meet or exceed all conditions outlined in the Ramsey <br />City Code Section 10-56 (b) pertaining to private kennel licensing; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council met on November 9, 2021 to review the request for a <br />Private Kennel License. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) That a Private Kennel License is hereby granted to Licensee to maintain the five (5) <br />specific dogs, outlined in Exhibit A, on the Subject Property. <br />2) That the Licensee shall comply with all provisions of Ramsey City Code Chapter 10 <br />Article III (Dogs). <br />3) That the Licensee acknowledges that this License does not allow any dogs not included in <br />Exhibit A to be maintained on the Subject Property. <br />That the Licensee shall be responsible for maintaining the individual dog licenses as long <br />as the dogs are maintained on the Subject Property. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor Kuzma <br />Councilmember Specht <br />
