ATTACHEMENT A <br /> <br />City of Ramsey - TH 47 Realignment Study <br /> Conceptual Corridor Planning <br /> <br />Scope of Services <br /> <br />The following tasks summarize the services Bolton & Menk, Inc. will provide to the City <br />of Ramsey to complete conceptual roadway corridor design, cursory environmental <br />impact review, and traffic operations analysis for the potential realignment of TH 47 <br />between Nowthen Blvd and Bunker Lake Road. <br /> <br />Task 1.0 Proiect Coordination <br />Bolton & Menk, Inc. will meet with project partners as needed to coordinate activities and <br />prepare design recommendations. Bolton & Menk will meet with the City of Ramsey <br />staff and/or Lord of Life Church officials on up to three occasions. Bolton & Menk will <br />also maintain communication by phone and/or email to facilitate efficient and timely <br />communication between project partners. <br /> <br />Bolton & Menk will remain available to present TH 47 Realignment information at up to <br />two meetings with elected officials and/or other affected agencies. <br /> <br />Task 2.0 Concept Evaluation <br /> <br />I~olton & Menk, Inc. will complete a cursory review of potential environmental impacts <br />associated with expansion of the current TH 4'7 corridor between Nowthen Blvd and TH <br />10 as well as realignment of TH 47 using a Dysprosium St/Thurston Avenue alignment. <br />The environmental review will include wetland impacts, parkland impacts, right-of-way <br />acquisitions, and other known environmental factors that may influence the selection of a <br />preferred roadway corridor. <br /> <br />I~olton & Menk will prepare an evaluation matrix that will summarize and compare each <br />corridor concept with associated environmental factors. <br /> <br />Deliverables include: A. Concept Evaluation Technical Memorandum <br /> B. Evaluation Matrix <br /> <br />Scheduled Completion: August 31, 2005 <br /> <br />Task 3.0 Traffic Operations <br /> <br />Bolton & Menk will utilize existing traffic volume information as well as 2030 traffic <br />forecasts prepared for the City's Comprehensive Plan Update to establish AM and PM <br />Peak Hour traffic conditions with the realignment of TH 47. Bolton & Menk will complete <br />an operational analysis for the proposed intersection of TH 47 and Nowthen Blvd to <br />prepare geometric recommendations for the intersection. <br /> <br />Deliverables include: <br /> <br /> A.
