Annual Employee Recognition Event. The City of Ramsey's Annual Holiday Employee <br />Recognition Event is scheduled for Friday, January 14, from 4:31 to 11:00 pm at the Super Bowl, <br />6720 Riverdale Drive NW. RSVP's are due back to Kathy Schmitz at <br />Ehipli,z,(r cityoframsev.com by Monday, December 27. Attached to the Weekly Update is the <br />2021 Holiday Employee Recognition Event Invitation. <br />Recycle Holiday Lights. The Ramsey Municipal Center will be serving as a drop-off location for <br />recycling holiday lights. All strands of holiday lights, whether they work or not, can be dropped <br />off at the Ramsey Municipal Center (7550 Sunwood Drive NW) during regular business hours <br />(Monday — Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm) beginning December 1 through the end of January, <br />2022. All light strands will be recycled and there is no cost to residents for this service. Please <br />remember that while strands of holiday lights are recyclable, they cannot be placed in your <br />curbside recycling cart. Please remove light strands from any plastic framing/shapes before <br />dropping them off. <br />Recycle cardboard boxes at Ramsey Public Works. Anyone else's recycling bins overflowing <br />with cardboard? We've got you covered! Beginning Wednesday, December 15, 2021, there will <br />be two cardboard recycling dumpsters available for residents to recycle all those extra cardboard <br />boxes that have been piling up. The dumpsters are located at our former public works campus - <br />14100 Jaspar Street NW — and will be available through mid -January. Please flatten all boxes to <br />help conserve space in the dumpsters. These dumpsters are for cardboard and other recyclable <br />paper only. <br />Toys for Joy and Granny's Closet. The City of Ramsey is a collection site for Toys for Joy and <br />Granny's Closet this holiday season. Toys for Joy and Granny's Closet are non-profit 501(c)(3) <br />organizations that assist Anoka County families in providing gifts and meals to their children <br />during the holidays. Cash donations can be dropped in the "Cash Can" at the front desk in the <br />lobby. Non-perishable food items, new toys, books and clothing items are also being collected <br />through Tuesday, December 14.
