Councilmember Specht introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #21-286 RESOLUTION APPROVING A PRIVATE KENNEL LICENSE ON A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 14941 LIMONITE ST NW. WHEREAS, Brian Niehaus and Brieanna Evans, hereinafter referred to as the “Licensees”, have properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the “City”) for a Private Kennel License (the “License”) on the property generally known as 14941 Limonite St NW and legally described as follows: UNPLATTED RAMSEY TWP THE S 200 FT OF THE N 833 FT OF THE E 185 FT OF THE W 709 FT AS MEAS ALONG THE W & N LINES THEREOF OF THE SW1/4 OF SW1/4 OF SEC 22-32-25 ANOKA CNTY, MN (SUBJ TO EASE OF RECORD), Anoka County, Minnesota (“Subject Property”) WHEREAS, the Licensee has applied for a Private Kennel License to maintain four (4) dogs on the Subject Property; and WHEREAS , the application for a Private Kennel License is for an anticipated fourth dog to reside on the Subject Property; and WHEREAS , the request appears to meet or exceed all conditions outlined in the Ramsey City Code Section 10-56 (b) pertaining to private kennel licensing; and WHEREAS, the City Council met on October 26, 2021 to review the request for a Private Kennel License. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: Licensee 1) That a Private Kennel License is hereby granted to to maintain the four (4) Subject Property specific dogs, outlined in Exhibit A, on the . Licensee 2) That the shall comply with all provisions of Ramsey City Code Chapter 10 Article III (Dogs). LicenseeLicense 3) That the acknowledges that this does not allow any dogs not included Subject Property in Exhibit A to be maintained on the . Licensee 4) That the shall be responsible for maintaining the individual dog licenses as long Subject Property as the dogs are maintained on the .
