<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-302 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR FLASHING YELLOW <br />ARROW IMPROVEMENTS TO SIGNAL SYSTEM AT SUNWOOD DRIVE AND <br />RAMSEY BOULEVARD/CSAH 56 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Anoka County proposes to implement FYA improvements at numerous <br />signal systems within Anoka County in 2022; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> pursuant to a request from a resident of the City of Ramsey, the City of <br />Ramsey wishes to study the feasibility of improving the signal system at Sunwood Drive and <br />Ramsey Boulevard/CSAH 56 to incorporate FYA operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> Anoka County requires the City of Ramsey to use SEH, Inc. to study the <br />feasibility of improving the signal system at Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Boulevard/CSAH 56 to <br />incorporate FYA operations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> SEH, Inc. proposes to complete a feasibility study for the City of Ramsey <br />for the proposed FYA modifications for the signal system at Sunwood Drive and Ramsey <br />Boulevard/CSAH 56 at a not-to-exceed cost of $1,800; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> on October 19, 2021, the Public Works Committee recommended City <br />Council approval to authorize a feasibility study for flashing yellow arrow improvements at the <br />intersection of Sunwood Drive and Ramsey Boulevard/CSAH 56. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to enlist SEH, Inc. to preare a <br />feasibility study for flashing yellow arrow improvements at the intersection of Sunwood <br />Drive and Ramsey Boulevard/CSAH 56 for and on behalf of the City of Ramsey at a not <br />too exceed . <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Heineman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br /> <br />
