Councilmember Specht introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #21-319 RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE COMPLETION OF AN ADDITIONAL TRAFFIC STUDY FOR TROTT BROOK CROSSING WHEREAS, the Trott Brook Crossing subdivision is comprised of 270 lots on 200 acre and the development will have significant traffic impacts to the surrounding area; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council is entrusted to protect the health, safety, and general welfare of all its residents; and WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council has reviewed the traffic studies for the Trott Brook Crossing development and has identified areas of concern that have not yet been satisfactorily addressed; and WHEREAS, an additional traffic study would provide the Ramsey City Council with the information necessary to verify previous traffic study results, and to ensure that all public safety traffic issues are properly addressed; and WHEREAS, the City Council reviewed and approved the requested on April 13, 2021. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Ramsey City Administrator to commission a Traffic Study for the Trott Brook Crossing Development. 2) That the study shall not exceed $15,000 in cost, with funds hereby allocated from the City Public Improvement Revolving (PIR) Fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Heineman, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmember Specht Councilmember Heineman Councilmember Howell Councilmember Musgrove Councilmember Riley Councilmember Woestehoff and the following voted against the same: Mayor Kuzma
