<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-325 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING MUNICIPAL STATE AID SYSTEM DESIGNATIONS AND <br />COLLECTOR ROAD SYSTEM <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which provides of a <br />system of arterial and collector thoroughfares; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid System <br />(MSAS) under chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction and maintenance <br />of such an arterial and collector system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best inters of the City of Ramsey to modify the designated MSAS <br />to conform to its changing transportation needs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a City Council resolution followed by an order from the Commissioner of <br />Transportation is required when revising a nonexistent segment alignment onto an existing <br />roadway. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1) That the following described MSAS segments be revoked from the system: <br /> <br />th <br /> Part of MSAS 101: Uranimite Street – from Bunker Lake Blvd to 149 Avenue (0.26 <br />non-existing miles) <br />th <br /> Part of MSAS 104: Sunwood Drive/ 146 Ave – from Puma Street to Armstrong Blvd <br />(0.68 non-existing and 0.13 improved for a total of 0.81miles) <br />nd <br /> Part of MSAS 109: Puma Street (non-existing)/ 142 Avenue – from Bunker Lake Blvd <br />to Armstrong Blvd (1.34 non-existing and 0.18 improved for a total of 1.52 miles) <br /> Part of MSAS 109: Traprock Street – from Riverdale Drive to TH 10 (0.07 non-existing <br />miles) <br /> Part of MSAS 116 Armstrong Blvd – from Riverdale Drive to TH 10 (0.02 non-existing <br />and 0.06 improved for a total of 0.08 miles) <br /> <br />2) That the following described MSAS segments be added to the system: <br /> <br /> Extension of MSAS 101: Center Street – from Sunwood Drive to Bunker Lake Blvd, <br />ththth <br />and from Bunker Lake Blvd to 147 Lane, and from 147 Lane to 149 Lane (0.42 <br />improved and 0.18non-existing for a total of 0.60 miles) <br /> Extension of MSAS 129: Veterans Drive – from Rhinestone Street to Ramsey Blvd <br />(0.27 non-existing miles) <br /> <br />
