<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-349 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING AND ORDERING ENGINEERING <br />SERVICES FOR WEST ARMSTRONG REDEVELOPMENT AREA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in May of 2021 the Ramsey EDA and Ramsey City Council affirmed the <br />land use vision in the West of Armstrong Redevelopment Area and directed staff to obtain a <br />proposal to obtain design/plans and specs to reconstruct roadways and to install City utilities in <br />the area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 9, 2021, the EDA approved the Engineering Services for the <br />Topographical Survey of the West Armstrong Redevelopment Area and ordered the work to <br />commence; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 9, 2021, the EDA unanimously recommended that the City <br />Council Authorize Funding and Order Engineering Services for West Armstrong Redevelopment <br />Area (Designs/Plans and Feasibility Update) as defined in the Bolton and Menk proposal for a <br />cost of $49,835; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has received development inquiries and interest from landowners in <br />the area to reconstruct roadways and to install City infrastructure to allow this area to redevelop <br />efficiently. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes $49,835 in funding from the PIR fund and authorizes <br />City Officials to order Engineering Services for West Armstrong Redevelopment Area <br />(Design/Plans and Specs and Feasibility Update) <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Musgrove, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
