<br />Councilmember Howell introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-352 <br /> <br />APPROVING YOUTH FIRST COMMUNITY OF PROMISE LEASE AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Youth First Community of Promise has leased City property located at <br />6701 Hwy 10 NW since; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the current Leases for the east 4,820 SF of space in the front of 6701 Hwy <br />10 NW and the adjacent Vacant Lot terminate on December 31, 2021 and Youth First <br />Community of Promise has asked the City to extend those leases; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Leases for the east 4,820 SF of space in the front of 6701 Hwy <br />10 NW and the adjacent Vacant Lot terminate on December 31, 2021 and Youth First <br />Community of Promise has asked the City to extend those leases; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has provided previous leases to with Youth First with <br />favorable terms intentionally to support their mission and work. The terms of the proposed two <br />lease of the East 4,820 SF of 6701 and the Adjacent Vacant Land are as follows: <br /> <br />- January 1, 2022 – December 31, 2022 - $1.00 annually <br />- January 1, 2023 – December 31, 2023 - $1.00 annually <br />WHEREAS, the City Attorney has reviewed the proposed Lease Agreement combining <br />the East 4,280 SF of the front of 6701 Hwy 10 and the adjacent Vacant Lot and current Leases <br />for the east 4,820 SF of space in the front of 6701 Hwy 10 NW and the adjacent Vacant Lot has <br />has found the terms to be consistent with previous leases with Youth First except for the duration <br />being shortened to 2 years to allow for the RALF properties to be sold. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA <br />COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement with Youth First <br />Community of Promise for the East 4,280 SF of the front of 6701 Hwy 10 NW and the <br />adjacent Vacant Lot; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> <br />That the motion for the adoption of the forgoing resolution was duty seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />
