<br />NO RESOLUTION – ABATEMENT NOT REQUIRED <br /> <br />Councilmember _____________ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-258 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TERMINATING ACTIVE CODE ENFORCEMENT FOR OFF-STREET <br />PARKING OF A TRAILER AT 7009 HIGHWAY 10 NW (STAR AUTO) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City received a complaint of off-street parking of a trailer at 7009 <br />Highway 10 NW, commonly known as Star Auto (the “Subject Property”), owned by Jim <br />Frampton (the “Property Owner”); and <br /> <br />WHERAS, the City sent a first notice of violation for off-street parking violations on July <br />9, 2021; and <br /> <br />WHERAS, the City brought an abatement proposal to the City Council on July 27, 2021, <br />where the City Council determined that a decision on abatement would be postponed for sixty (60) <br />days; and <br /> <br />WHERAS, the Property Owner has moved the trailer to appropriate surfacing, but it is still <br />being utilized as a storage structure; and <br /> <br />WHERAS, the City is proposing to terminate code enforcement on the Subject Property <br />for the off-street parking violations of the trailer and vehicles parked on grass. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1. That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to terminate all code enforcement <br />action on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />______________, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />th <br />the 14 day of September, 2021. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
